GWEN GUNN studied acting with Uta Hagen at the Herbert Berghof Studio in NYC. She performed several seasons of summer stock at the Antioch Area Theatre and the Trotwood Circle Theatre in Ohio, acted Off-off Bway, and played Molly in the long running THREEPENNY OPERA at the Theatre de Lys. She is delighted to be working with TheaterSounds.
NORMAN THOMAS MARSHALL is a veteran of thirty-eight years as a professional actor. He has participated in more than three hundred productions- stage, film, television and radio as actor, producer or director. Marshall has shared the stage and screen with such notable preformers as F. Murray Abraham, Raul Julia, Moses Gunn, Bette Midler, Peter Reigert, Burt Reynolds, Telly Savalas, Barbara Streisand and Fritz Weaver. He has, since 1996, performed a one-man show, JOHN BROWN: TRUMPET OF FREEDOM.
RICHARD SCOFIELD is an actor, writer, and carpenter. His training includes local workshops, SUNY New Paltz' Theatre dept., NYU's School of Performing Arts, and Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, London. Some favorite Shakespeare roles include, Sir John Falstaff, King Lear, Iago, Henry IV, Richard III, Bottom. For Performing Arts of Woodstock he has performed the roles of Joe Keller in Arthur Miller's ALL MY SONS; Martin in Sam Shepard's FOOL FOR LOVE; and Baptista in Shakespeare's THE TAMING OF THE SHREW.
NICOLA SHEARA (Director) has been an actress and director on Broadway, Off Broadway and across the country for over 30 years. Hudson Valley audiences have seen her work as an actress most recently in the Woodstock Fringe production of THE DAYS ARE AS GRASS by Carol Hall and directed by Vivian Matalon; in LOVE LETTERS and COLLECTED STORIES for Performing Arts of Woodstock and as a director of THREEPENNY OPERA at the Bardavon; NUNSENSE at Rhinebeck Performing Arts Center; I HATE HAMLET at Shadowlands, THE GREAT NEBULA IN ORION for the Woodstock Fringe; and for PAW: WENCESLAS SQUARE, NECESSARY TARGETS, and most recently the successful production of PROOF. Nicola directed the production of ALL MY SONS currently at PAW and recently directed ART for Rhinebeck Performing Arts Center.
MICHELE LEE SHORTESS received her BA in Theatre Arts from SUNY New Paltz, and has continued to study acting at many schools in and around New York City. She most recently played Chrissy in Brian Friel's DANCING AT LUGHNASA with the Illustrious Theatre Company in Warwick, NY. Micki is a massage therapist and esthetician, and she lives with her husband Terrence and their dog Sparky in Sugar Loaf, New York.
KEN THOMPSON has appeared in the Hudson Valley area in Performing Arts of Woodstock's WENCESLAS SQUARE, ZOO STORY at UPAC's Back Alley Theatre, Shadowland's SOCIAL SECURITY and THE MOUSETRAP; and LAW & ORDER: SVU.
