PLAYWRIGHTS & CAST

MILDRED BARKER for several years wrote job descriptions and career guides for The State Department of Labor at The World Trade Center, Tower 2.

ADELE CALCAVECCHIO
is a long-time member of several theater groups, notably PAW, Coachhouse Players and NYCA. She is currently reading TALES OF THE MIDDLESEX CANAL in several venues.

TOM CHERWIN,
a Saugerties resident, has appeared on stages in NYC and Woodstock, and in the Susan Seidelman feature "Smithereens."

JOANNE DAVIS
is a singer/songwriter of witty, joyful and/or deeply moving songs. She's played extensively in the NY area, performing traditional music as well, especially Irish, accompanying herself on guitar or concertina.

MARVIN EINHORN*
is an actor and director in TV, Film, Off Broadway and Regional. Actively involved at Primary Stages Company in NYC.

LEWIS GARDNER
is a playwright who lives in Woodstock. His TALES OF THE MIDDLESEX CANAL has been touring the Hudson Valley this fall.

LAWRENCE R. HARRIS
is a member of the Dramatists Guild and the Independent Feature Project. His full-length play, THE KITCHEN OF HEAVEN, was produced by NYC's EAT Theatre.

JILLIAN LINDIG* is a veteran of Broadway, Off-Broadway, National Tours, LORT, Film and TV.

ANNE V. McGRAVIE
is a Celtic playwright who lives and works in Chicago. Full length, award-winning, plays are WRENS, THE CAIRN STONES, and the HIROSHIMA PROJECT. BAGS was published in Other Voices, an Illinois magazine.

WALLACE NORMAN*
is a member of Playwright’s Gallery in NYC. Has written short plays and two full-length plays, CRANE COTTAGE, and IT CAN’T HAPPEN HERE. As an actor, has appeared in Off-Broadway, Regional and Stock theaters and performs in cabaret rooms as well.

SHIRLEY POWELL
once took her Midwest mother to visit The World Trade Center. As they entered, they were ushered out because of a bomb scare.

DEBORAH SAVADGE*
was seen here in August in Arthur Miller's THE PRICE. This summer she performed small roles in plays she wrote, MAD BAD & DANGEROUS at the Woodstock Theatre Co. and DEATH'S DOOR at the Dorset Playhouse in VT.

LESLEY SAWHILL
is an actress, writer, director in the Hudson Valley area. She developed the Shakespeare Story Theater Workshops.

NICOLA SHEARA*
has directed in NYC, in regional theaters, at the Bardavon and in Woodstock.. She is the co-writer-producer-director of the video documentary ON: OFF OFF BROADWAY.

BRIAN SMIAR*
appeared on Broadway in MIXED EMOTIONS, as well as in regional theaters, films, and recently on TV in The Education of Max Bickford.

CLOVER SWANN
has been a book editor and business manager for an Off Broadway theater.

KEN THOMPSON*
has appeared in the Hudson Valley area in PAW's WENCESLAS SQUARE, ZOO STORY at UPAC's Back Alley Theatre, Shadowland's Social Security and THE MOUSETRAP; and Law & Order: SVU.
