JOANNA LIAO was last seen as The Egg Girl in WHAT THE MOON SAW OR I ONLY APPEAR TO BE DEAD by Stephanie Fleischmann at The Interart Theatre. Other theatres she has performed at include Trinity Rep, Centennial Theater Festival, The Brecht Forum, The Bat Theatre Company at The Flea, The Lark, Perishable Theatre, Brown Summer Theatre, ManhattanTheatreSource, the Present Company, Real History Productions, 90 Minute Theatre, and NewGate Theatre. Her performance as Shen-Te/Shui-Ta in the Wings Theatre Company's New York premiere of Tony Kushner's adaptation of Brecht's THE GOOD PERSON OF SZECHUAN was cited by BackStage as a Critic's Choice Best of the Year. She attended Brown University.

CHRISTINA NICOSIA recently appeared in W-WOW's performance of the classic radio mysteries THE SHADOW as Margo Lane, NERO WOLFE, THE FAT MAN, PHILLIP MARLOWE, and ELLERY QUEEN as Nicky Porter. She starred in the Bedtime Sketch Comedy shows FEED THE RICH, BEDTIME-A-GO-GO, and GIN & COMIC, and is a member of the improv group Kundalini Komedy which recently performed their show KUNDALINI KOMEDY SELLS OUT at Chashama on 42nd Street. Favorite roles include Julia in 1984, Lady Anne in RICHARD III and Laura in THE GLASS MENAGERIE. Her show MAN OF INFINITE DESIRE, a one-woman retelling of the Faust myth from the point of view of Mephistopheles, will be performed this summer in NYC as part of the 6th Annual New York International Fringe Festival.

NICOLA SHEARA has performed on Broadway (GRAPES OF WRATH: Tony Award - Best Production,) Off Broadway, and in regional theaters across the country. Hudson Valley audiences have seen her in LOVE LETTERS and COLLECTED STORIES with Performing Arts of Woodstock, and in three productions at Capital Repertory Theatre in Albany. Ms. Sheara's work as a director has been seen in the area at PAW, Shadowlands, at the Bardavon (THE THREEPENNY OPERA), and at the Rhinebeck Theater Center starting May 23 with the musical comedy NUNSENSE. Daytime serials include LOVING and LOVE IS A MANY SPLENDORED THING. Ms. Sheara records books on tape, several of which can be found on the shelves of the West Hurley Library.

BRIAN SMIAR appeared on Broadway in MIXED EMOTIONS. He has also performed at Playwrights Horizons, The Provincetown Playhouse, Fulton Opera House, Cincinnati Playhouse and The Charles Playhouse, Boston. His films include REGARDING HENRY, BOSS OF BOSSES, SHADOWS AND FOG, 13 CONVERSATIONS ABOUT ONE THING, and THE NEXT KARATE KID, and he was a regular on THE SLAP MAXWELL SHOW and L.A. FIREFIGHTERS. In addition, he has been on LAW & ORDER, THIRD WATCH, ED, HOOP LIFE, CHINA BEACH, thirysomething and THE COMMISH, and recently on THE EDUCATION OF MAX BICKFORD.

DAVID STERN appeared in Chicago with the Steppenwolf Theater Company. A graduate of the University of Chicago, he was a member of the student improv Off-Off Campus, which boasts such notable alumni as Dave Auburn, author of PROOF, and Greg Kotis, who wrote the book and lyrics for URINETOWN. He was also a member of the improv group Shiela, for which he acted and directed. Last year, he starred in a five-month run of improv group The Quorum's show FORMAT at Gotham City Improv. He is currently a member of the improv group HYBRID VIGOR, which will perform a new show later this year.

KEN THOMPSON has appeared in the Hudson Valley area in PAW's WENCESLAS SQUARE, ZOO STORY at UPAC's Back Alley Theatre, Shadowland's Social Security and THE MOUSETRAP; and Law & Order: SVU.
